‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ renewed on night of finale; rejoice!

While we knew that this was almost surely coming, it is nice to have it official on the very same night as the season finale: “The Celebrity Apprentice” is officially renewed for a 15th season! (Note that this season listing includes the original version, as well.)

Given how recently the show ended, there is not a whole lot else to really report on right now. We imagine that this season will be filmed in the summer or the early fall, with it premiering at some point in 2016. Personally, we hope that the show utilizes a similar format next year, where it airs on Mondays while we wait for “The Voice” to come back on. It aired to great ratings here, so why in the world would you want to change things up? Why ruin what is already a good thing?

As for the cast, we hope that they use some of the suggestions that we put into a recent podcast, but in reality, the show has a whole lot of different options that they can go with depending on what they really want to do here. One of the luxuries of drawing better ratings this time around is that it potentially opens the show up to a greater pool of celebrities. More and more people are going to be interested in doing the show, and in turn, that means an opportunity to see some more familiar faces.

As soon as there are some more updates about this upcoming season of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” don’t worry: We are going to have them for you right here!
