‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 7 video: Daphne learns about Regina’s new business

As of late, it feels more like we have spent a ton of time here discussing some of the more challenging storylines on “Switched at Birth.” Then again, when you have a story like the one we had with Tank and Bay, it’s hard to avoid it.

While we know that Tuesday night’s new episode is still going to be dealing with the aftermath of all of that to a certain extent when it comes to Bay and Emmett, let’s take a moment in this article to catch our breath, and look at something else: Regina’s new business venture. In the sneak peek below, she informs Daphne that she has decided that she has put a good $50,000 into a new coffee venture. She says that Riverside needs a place like this, and while it is tricky anytime that you have a startup like this, it is worth the gamble for her. (“Shark Tank” crossover, anyone? We wish!)

We’re actually not sure how this is going to work out for Daphne in the long-term. We always do love the local hangouts, but against the machine known as Starbucks, not a whole lot of them survive. Then again, we are speaking here in the literal sense; since this is TV, we’re not sure if watching Regina fall apart financially is a story that anyone wants to see. It’s so much more compelling to see her succeed, and in between Bay taking the fall for Daphne and what happened with Tank, there’s already been enough sadness on the show as of late.
