‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 star Taylor Kinney, Lady Gaga reportedly engaged

While his “Chicago Fire” character of Kelly Severide has seen his own romantic life a little all over the place this season, it appears that the actor and his longtime girlfriend Lady Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) are now engaged. This was first reported by Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis, who happened to be at the right place (i.e. her family’s restaurant in Manhattan) as she was celebrating. This news should not come as much of a shock, given that Gaga and Kinney have been together off and on since 2011. The two met on the set of her “You and I” music video, and save for a small period of time in 2012, have been together ever since.

Despite her being one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, the two have managed to have a relationship that is fairly low-key. Part of that may be due to Kinney being able to spend so much of the year working in Chicago, which is away from some of the typical paparazzi and gossip magazines. They have a little more freedom there. Even still, Gaga has always been somewhat protective of her life away from the stage when it comes to past relationships.

Before joining “Chicago Fire,” Kinney was well-known to some TV fans for playing Mason on “The Vampire Diaries.” He was guest-starring on this show at the time that his relationship first started to become well-known to some out there.
