‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Henry’s back at it again…
Did you really think that killing Moloch had reformed Henry on “Sleepy Hollow“? Well, think again! As the latest sneak peek for Monday night’s new episode below basically gives away, this guy is not anywhere close to being done with being a terrible / dangerous person just yet.
The sneak peek below is exciting for us for a variety of different reasons, with the principal one being that it shows John Noble’s character being evil. What’s not to love about that? We have not always enjoyed all the Crane family drama, but we would watch Noble read the phone book … or in this case the spell book. Also, this scene is largely effective in giving us a slightly different flavor than what we are used to seeing on the show. We are in Philadelphia rather than New York, hence the appearance of the Liberty Bell. Here, its chimes apparently leads to a few people turning evil and doing terrible things.
Ultimately, we’re rather fond of where the show is going for its final two episodes, given that Katrina may have turned her back on Ichabod and there is great mystery ahead regarding Henry’s endgame. We may have some answers on Monday’s episode, but we assume that much of the meat may be saved until the finale.
While this show has not been renewed yet for a third season, we still feel fairly likely that this is going to happen. It still draws decent enough ratings, and it can recover from what we feel are some creative stumbles this season.
