‘CSI’ season 15 finale video: George Eads, Ted Danson reflect on Nick Stokes’ exit
“CSI” season 15 is airing its two-hour finale on Sunday night, and it is going to be more than just the end of a season. It’s also going to mark the end of a character in Nick Stokes in Las Vegas. there are no plans reportedly to do anything terrible to this character; he is merely heading off to take a new job over in San Diego.
The video below is a bit of a preparation to that big farewell, since it features George Eads talking about what this show has meant to him, and also what he took away from working with so many different people. At one point, Ted Danson also chimes in, saying that there is nobody who cares ultimately about this show more than Eads does. It is probably never easy to leave a steady job, but it has to be almost strange when it is a part of your life for this long. You get used to the people and forge friendships with the other cast and crew.
We do still have to prepare for the possibility that this finale could actually end up being the series finale, as well … even if we don’t want it to be. The ratings have not been great, and it has been thrown all over the schedule.
Our personal hope is that the series will earn a 13-episode final season similar to what “The Mentalist” received. That way, it can have a chance to share some nostalgia and great moments with the longtime fans.

To me, this is the end of the show. I have always thought Nick and Greg were the 2 staples that shouldn’t have been touched. I was not happy about Warrick and a couple of others but this is the straw for me.

A character reunion with Grissom and the original cast during the final season would be great and ideal..

This is my favorite TV show. It was really frustrating during football season as CBS was almost always an hour behind schedule and CSI was the show that was dropped. I really hope it stays on.

We have been watching CSI since its inception. We will miss Nick for sure and hope the show does not end. With so many new shows it is hard to watch all those viewers are interested in including our older favorites like CSI Las Vegas. Money can still be made when viewers watch On Command. Think about it!
