‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Will Burgess, Roman survive kidnapping?
“Chicago PD” seems to have quite a habit right now of throwing Burgess into difficult situations. She’s almost like this show’s version of Mills from “Chicago Fire” in that way. Danger tends to follow her, and with that in mind, so does our consistent sense of worry. We know already that this is not a series that will shy away from killing people off.
Next week, she’s not going to be the only one in danger, either. Both she and Roman are going to have to figure out how to handle a situation where they are both in enormous danger, and there is no apparent way for them to find an escape. Will someone be able to help them? It doesn’t seem like it, since they are going to be without any means of calling in help.
You can see the super-intense preview for this episode below; also, be sure to check out the official synopsis, which really lays out many of the specific stakes:
“With her recent decision to stay on the beat, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) begins to feel a little regret. While at a convenience store she sees some suspicious activity and pursues it without calling in for backup. Roman (Brian Geraghty) warns against it, but it’s too late, Chang (guest star Rich Ting) confiscates their guns and radios. They are trapped with no means to communicate out for support. Meanwhile, it’s a slow day in intelligence and they are spending the day receiving taser certification.”

I don’t want Burgess to die. She and Ruzek are the only reason i watch the show in the first place.
