‘The Mentalist’ series finale spoilers: First photo of Jane, Lisbon’s wedding!

You may be watching tonight’s new episode of “The Mentalist” at this very moment, but we wanted to give you something to specifically look forward to beyond this: The first look at the upcoming (and super-important) wedding between Jane and Lisbon.

Doesn’t this look romantic? We certainly think so. The wedding dress for Robin Tunney’s character is simple and yet exquisite, and the veil really brings it over the top. Then again, it’s rather hard to really give a full impression on the dress without getting a full picture of it. With that being said, we’re just happy to see that the wedding seems to be happening!

Admittedly, we’re still surprised that CBS decided that they were going to give away the wedding in advance, since it feels like something that would make a great surprise for the finale. Then again, there’s one reason why they probably let the cat out of the bag a little bit early: Ratings. The network is cognizant that the wedding could bring in some older fans of the show who maybe haven’t watched in a while, so why not give it a shot?

Also, it is for this reason that the show has probably scooped already that both Owain Yeoman and Amanda Righetti are also coming back as Rigsby and Van Pelt for the final episode. This means that this episode will at least feel in some ways like one of the early episodes, except with a few new faces joining forces with the old.
