‘Jane the Virgin’ episode 14 preview: Slaps and other shockers
For the past couple of weeks, “Jane the Virgin” has really done a good job of marketing itself as a comedy, but one with many layers. Tonight’s episode was one of the most important ones you’ve seen so far, and next week, you are going to have some of the aftermath of Jane’s decisions when it comes to Rafael and others.
In addition to that, though, you are also going to see the show have even more fun. The CW is definitely marketing that in the promo below, in addition to the fact that Gina Rodriguez won a Golden Globe. Seriously, we feel like the show is probably going to continue to bring that up until we get to at least the season 2 premiere, so we hope you don’t get sick of them tooting that horn.
If you have not seen the official synopsis yet for this installment, you can do that below:
“Michael (Brett Dier) is convinced that Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is helping to hide his father and puts the thought into Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) head as well, making her grow suspicious of Rafael’s recent actions. Elsewhere, Jane forces Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) to reveal how they really feel about each other, but neither is prepared for what the other has to say. Petra (Yael Grobglas) finds a new way to torture Rafael that even he could not have imagined. Meanwhile, Jane’s friends want to throw her a baby shower, but it brings up some serious questions about her and Rafael’s future.”
At this point, you are probably far enough in the series to know just what you are going to get from this show. For the most part, that means entertaining television with quite a few twists and turns for that matter.
