‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: Emilia Clarke – Lena Headey highlights in HBO special (video)

You are going to be waiting until April 12 in order to watch the premiere of “Game of Thrones,” but luckily for you, you don’t have to wait anywhere near that long to watch HBO’s “A Day in the Life” special.

The network today put the entire special on its YouTube page, and you can check it out in its entirety below. This video features interviews with executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. There are also some moments where you can see Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, and a few of the other stars of the show. This special also looks at multiple settings that the show uses, from Northern Ireland (where the majority of the interior sets are) to Spain to Dubrovnik, Croatia. This is a great reminder of just how ambitious this show truly is, and the sort of work that goes into making it utterly spectacular.

Of course, this video is probably not for everyone. We know that there are some who prefer not to see some of these behind-the-scenes details, mostly so that they can watch the show with a completely fresh set of eyes and without seeing Headey being herself while wearing the Cersei Lannister costume. It’s pretty different!

Of course, we are going to have some further news related to the show as it starts to come out. Given that this is nearly half an hour long, though, we’d recommend that you just get to watching.
