Is ‘Madam Secretary’ episode 14 new tonight? New Tea Leoni photo!
In this week’s traditional “Madam Secretary” update, we begin with the same news that we have been reporting every week in this spot since before the Super Bowl: There is no new episode airing on CBS Sunday night.
However, we do come here bearing some more good news than what we have had in some recent articles on the subject of the series. After all, we have the first photo featuring star Tea Leoni from the next new episode, alongside guest star Kevin Rahm (“Mad Men”). As we have shared already, Rahm will be guest-starring in the episode as a consultant hired by Elizabeth in order to help with a budget hearing. Based on the photo attached to this article, it certainly looks like she could use all of the help that she can get.
Just in case you are wondering just why there is no new installment coming on tonight, it simply boils down to the network having a very different responsibility in the Grammy Awards. They know that this is a tremendous ratings draw, and if nothing else maybe it will be a good promotional platform.
It has been confirmed now that when this series returns to the air on March 1, both it and “The Good Wife” are each going to be airing seven consecutive episodes. Ironically, the only reason for an interruption at all will come thanks to another awards show in the Academy of Country Music Awards.
We will have further updates every Sunday when it comes to “Madam Secretary” as we get ever closer to the episode airing. For now, let us know what you want to see with a comment.

Love Madam Secretary and am not happy that the show is always being interrupted with silly nonsense like the Superbowl and Grammy Awards. :( If the interruptions must always happen on CBS, why not interrupt the crime shows like NCIS, CSI, Criminal Minds, etc. They are all the same show with a different title. Madam Secretary is a great show that is relevant to America today. Very well written and well acted.

Madame Secretary is an excellent series who’s scripts portray events relevant to current events. NCIS is the Best of the Best. Both series represent true American Values which reenforce Family Values by parents. Continued postponement of the continuing upcoming episodes is starting to be a little annoying not to mention the frustration the actors/actresses, supportive technical staff, advertisers, etc. are going through. At some point the “bottom line” cannot dictate every option choice. Might think “out of the box”. Schedule outside the so called “prime time” timeline and see viewer reaction especially with DVR’s today. No guts No glory.
