‘Call the Midwife’ season 4, episode 4 video: Sister Monica Joan has a way with words
When “Call the Midwife” returns with another new episode on Sunday night, it will be doing so with a storyline that has its fair share of intrigue. Also, it provides further proof that there are some people in this world who just should not be allowed to tell stories. Why? They never come out in the way in which they should.
In the video below, you can see at first Sister Monica Joan decide to share the story of Anne Boleyn … with children. Here’s a word to the wise: Basically, any story involving one of Henry VIII’s wives is probably not good material for kids. They are all terrible, and they all end with an assortment of horrible things happening. It is far better when the dust settles to just steer clear of that and focusing on something a little bit more pleasant.
Eventually, this scene does end, and we have an opportunity to move forward and focus on something else. To say that we could not be more glad is one of the understatements out there.
As much fun as this preview is at first, though, it really does not give you a sense so much of what the action is going to be in this episode. This season, despite being almost halfway through, still has some ambiguity to it. For example, while we know that we are going to be seeing Trixie contemplate her wedding, that does not necessarily mean that she is going to actually make it to the altar. There are many things that could happen between now and then.
