‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Ron Perlman, Greg Nicotero, surprise ‘Walking Dead’ cast member to appear
Sunday night of course means more than just the return of “The Walking Dead” to AMC. It also signifies the grand return of the “Talking Dead” aftershow! There are a variety of different things to look forward to here, and they include first and foremost a chance to see what Ron Perlman brings to the Chris Hardwick-hosted show.
The former “Sons of Anarchy” star, who recently capped off a two-episode arc on “The Blacklist,” will be the celebrity guest. This excites us greatly, knowing Perlman’s general passion about things. Not only that, but he also has done Hardwick’s Nerdist podcast before, and the two have proven to have a very natural and fun demeanor with each other.
Meanwhile, Perlman will be joined on the show be executive producer, special-effects guru, and frequent director Greg Nicotero, who will be there to provide some of his excellent behind-the-scenes insight. There will also be a mystery guest from “The Walking Dead,” and we caution you with this: Don’t assume that this means someone is going to die Sunday. All this means is that someone probably has an important story.
One final reminder here is that “Talking Dead” is going to be airing much later than usual at 11:15 p.m. Eastern time, following the series premiere of “Better Call Saul.” This is the only week that you will see the series have such a late start; after this episode, the rest will air following “The Walking Dead.” AMC just wants to get the Bob Odenkirk series off to a great start, and who can blame them?
Excited for Sunday? Let us know, and be sure to check out a lengthy hour-long Google Hangout featuring the “Walking Dead” cast! Also, sign up now to receive some further TV updates on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: AMC.)

Is two episodes really an ‘arc’ – guest spot, i’d say!
