‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Megan Boone, cast face a rescue mission
‘The Blacklist” has yet another big episode coming on NBC next week, and the first thing that we can say here is that it will be progressing forward after the events of the Luther Braxton saga. On surface, “Ruslan Denisov” feels like it is going to be more of a procedural story than anything else, given that you have Liz Keen and Ressler traveling potentially to help a CIA agent who was recently taken capture.
In what may be one of the least-surprising updates ever, it appears that Raymond Reddington has a little bit of a past with this character. Who saw that coming? Well, probably everyone, given that he seems to have a history with almost everyone he comes into contact with.
Take a look right now, if you haven’t seen it already, at the synopsis for this episode:
“When an undercover CIA agent is kidnapped by a band of separatists in Uzbekistan, the task force sets a rescue mission in motion. Red (James Spader) informs Agents Keen (Megan Boone) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) that they are up against “Ruslan Denisov,” (guest star Faran Thair) a very dangerous past associate.”
Interestingly, the next big challenge for “The Blacklist” (or at least the one that we are the most excited to see) is what happens with the ratings tomorrow. For the first time, the show has enormous competition in its timeslot in “Scandal.” Maybe it will handle this okay, but we have seen in recent years that Super Bowl viewership often does not translate as a show moves to a new night.
What do you want to see on the next new installment of “The Blacklist”? Be sure to share now with a comment.
