‘The Flash’ episode 12 spoilers: Show boss on Peek-a-boo appearance
For those of you clamoring for more female villains on “Arrow” and “The Flash,” tonight’s episode of the latter show is looking to be right up your alley! After all, what we have for you in the video below is a look at Peek-a-boo, a woman who has a power who we feel is right on par, if not even better, than what Barry Allen brings to the table: She can teleport.
Think about it this way: It doesn’t seem like the makeshift prison set up at STAR Labs could hold her, while it could hold Barry. The only trouble we see her having here is that maybe if someone comes at her before she can see them, she will not be able to escape. Then again, you could say the same thing about super-speed. It’s all about awareness, and it does seem like this particular metahuman does have a blind spot.
As executive producer Andrew Kreisberg notes in the video below, one of his goals with this character was to create the show’s own version of Bonnie & Clyde, and have a character who was working with the man she loves (who she busts out of prison) in order to get a crime spree going. They don’t seem to have a nefarious endgame other than getting what they want, so this will be interesting to see unfold.
Of course, Kreisberg also notes in here the arrival of Malese Jow as Linda Park, a reporter who ends up becoming very interested in Barry after a night out that they spends drinking and enjoying each other.
