‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 16 preview: Tom Mison and … Thomas Jefferson?

Next week, “Sleepy Hollow” will be airing an episode on Fox that already has us tremendously excited, and there is one very simple reason for that: The opportunity to see what the show decides to do with the Thomas Jefferson character. You have to remember here that this is a person that the man was quite an extraordinary character in real life, so we are going to have a great time seeing what this man will be bringing to the table on this show. They have a tendency to add a few quirks to most of their historical figures, and they’ll probably do the same thing here.

Just in case that was not enough to get you excited, hopefully the synopsis below will. After all, it also contains at least a few teasers about the stories for Ichabod, Abbie, and even Jenny as she learns a few interesting new things about a certain Frank Irving:

“Ichabod and Abbie face demonic creatures that guard a secret crypt and encounter Thomas Jefferson (guest star Steven Weber) in their quest to fight evil. Meanwhile, Jenny learns a shocking secret about Frank Irving.”

We are getting pretty close to the end of this season, and when you consider that, we have to think that almost everything Tom Mison’s character runs into now will be important. Therefore, we have to think about Jefferson as something more than an added boost to the show for February sweeps.

Regardless, we’ll have a shot to find out in a week’s time.
