ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: More Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion ‘Reckoning’ details
Hard times are coming soon on “Castle” season 7, at least if you are the members of the 12th precinct. Next week the epic two-part episode featuring the return of Kelly Nieman and 3XK will be upon us, and the events of “Resurrection” will carry over directly to “Reckoning.”
While we have had a few teasers here and there over the past couple of days, we now have the episode’s full synopsis! We’re not necessarily sure that there is anything new in here versus what you have seen already, but this does give you a greater sense of how intense things are going to be:
“In the second installment of the Castle two-parter, stakes rise as the 12th Precinct matches wits with serial killers Jerry Tyson (3XK) and Dr. Kelly Nieman. With the clock ticking, Castle and the team must crack the case before the killers claim their next victim.”
What we really wonder right now, and what ABC is not saying, is whether or not the show would be so bold as to kill off a notable character. It has been a long time since that has happened, and these sort of things do happen in the world of police work fairly often. (Of course, we really don’t want to lose any beloved cast member, but a little danger here and there is good.) For those curious, we know for certain that Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are not going to be out of work after these episodes, so don’t worry about their fate.
Is there anything that you want to see on this particular “Castle” episode, beyond of course the obvious showdown between Rick and 3XK? Let us know! With 3xk and Dr. Nieman involved I would expect that one of Dr. Nieman’s clones would die if anyone does. If a clone of Beckett were to die, for instance, imagine the anxiety and emotion that would be involved. Same would be true for Castle. I would also think that for the clone to work that the original would have to be captured and held somewhere or off somewhere remote running down clues. I just hope that the episodes live up to the hype otherwise it will just be embarassing.
