‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Toby’s car dilemma

Tuesday night’s episode of “Switched at Birth” is looking like a pretty important episode based on what we are seeing and hearing right now, and it really doesn’t matter which characters you tend to enjoy, because everyone seems to be getting their own time in the spotlight at some point.

In the video below, that person seems to be Toby, who is dealing with what is a fairly common problem for many out there: Hefty car insurance payments. Therefore, he is looking to get rid of a BMW, and take on a different car instead. We cannot exactly say that this is the most involved or shocking sneak peek that we’ve ever seen, mostly because there is no definitive result here other than uncertainty.

We get the sense that the Toby story will heat up at some point before the first half of this season is over, but we feel like for many of the characters in the past month, they have been dealing with a variety of other problems that have really commanded attention. For example, Bay and Emmett’s relationship has really taken center stage, but it feels hard to really be shocked by this when you consider that they’ve been a focal point of the show for a long time.

Bay will have another huge story on Tuesday, but this time around, it is far more serious as she tries to figure out whether or not she was assaulted in the midst of a night of partying. Meanwhile, Daphne will continue to have a hard time fitting in.
