‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 12 video: Show execs on Marcel’s torment, many secrets

Monday night’s new episode of “The Originals” may be entitled “Sanctuary,” but after watching the new sneak peek below via the CW, it feels more like there is anything but sanctuary in the lives of many of these characters.

This video features executive producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci talking about several of the storylines, and it begins with Marcel being completely at the mercy right now of Vincent. The man otherwise known as Finn is aware that Charles Michael Davis’ character is one of the closest things to a pal that Klaus has ever made, and if there was ever a person to extract a secret from, it is most likely going to be him. With that being said, this is still a job that is easier said than done.

Meanwhile, the two EPs also discuss more of the conflict happening right now when it comes to Jackson and Hayley, and the dilemma that she is facing over some secrets of her own. In order for her missions to be complete, there are things that must be said … even though these may also be things that she does not particularly want to be said.

In the end, this leads to our favorite part of the entire clip, where Klaus proclaims to the world that he doesn’t want to do anything unpleasant while there are children present. Isn’t this the Klaus that so many of us know and love already? It definitely feels that way.
