‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16 spoilers: A major Mariska Hargitay story and more
“Undercover Mother” is the episode of “Law & Order: SVU” airing on Wednesday, February 18, and there is no need to beat around the bush with this one: It could contain a major story for Olivia Benson.
Anytime that you see the words “change her life forever” in a synopsis, you have to pause and think for a minute. Is this something good? It this something to be worried about? Unfortunately, this said below is not exactly going to be giving you much more in the way of enlightening information other than a word in “harsh” that should have you worried. In addition to that, you are going to find out about the case as a whole:
“Working undercover to bust a sex trafficking ring, Det. Carisi (Peter Scanavino) stumbles upon Martha Thornhill (guest star Lili Taylor), a mother who has embedded herself as a Madame in the organization for three years in hopes of finding and saving her daughter, Ariel. Martha joins forces with the SVU and they work together to bust the pimp and his cohorts, but Ariel is still missing. Meanwhile, Sgt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is confronted with a harsh revelation that will change her life forever.”
What could this “revelation” be? We do wonder if it involves Baby Noah, since this would tie the character back into the title. Being a mother, and also having a dangerous job that could put her at risk. This is mere speculation though; it may be possible that we find out much more in the way of information prior to the episode airing.

I stopped watching SVU 2 years back and so glad I did. It is nothing more than a nighttime soap opera.

Season 15 of SVU was very good. This season has been very good. I’m sorry you don’t like the show anymore. If NBC gets rid of SVU after this season, they might become the worst network television station. They don’t have a top 5 new TV show this year. The CW, WB and Fox all have good new shows this year. ABC and CBS have so many better shows that it’s scary.

NBC has been a failure across-the-board for several years running and they need to totally revamp–holding onto nighttime soap operas (that were once well respected procedurals, but aren’t now) isn’t going to save it. (And the Debra Messing show is even worst!)

As a fan of SVU(and Kelli Giddish) I guess We’ll have to agree to disagree on that. As For The Mysteries of Laura, it is definitely one of the worst shows of the year. It hasn’t been renewed for a second season. Madam Secretary has been renewed for a second season, which is absolutely one of the worst decisions ever. This was a money decision. CBS can say all they want that it is a quality show, but I’m not buying it.
