‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum joins Netflix – Marvel ‘AKA Jessica Jones’ series
Marvel is really getting their cast together these days for their upcoming Netflix series “AKA Jessica Jones.”
It was just earlier this week when we reported that former “Doctor Who” star David Tennant had signed on to portray one of the potential villains of the series. Now, we are finding out a little more scoop about someone else in Rachael Taylor. According to a new report coming in from Marvel themselves, Taylor will play Patricia “Trish” Walker, a syndicated radio-show host who also happens to have quite a history both in TV and also modeling. In the comic-book universe, she has the alter ego of Hellcat. Maybe that happens on the show as well, but nothing is anywhere close to confirmed for the time being. For now, all we can really say is that this show is in production throughout the early part of this year, it stars Krysten Ritter in the title role of a superhero-turned-private eye, and that it is going to air on the streaming service not too far into the future.
Taylor has certainly appeared on a number of shows in recent memory, but unfortunately, many of them ended up being canceled pretty early on into their runs. Just take a look at “Crisis,” “666 Park Avenue,” or the “Charlie’s Angels.” At least she has some other notable credits that include “Transformers” and a “Grey’s Anatomy” arc.
This show is as a whole a part of a much larger Marvel universe just on Netflix, and it includes other series including “Daredevil” and also “Luke Cage,” which will actually be introduced during the “Jessica Jones” series.
