‘Mistresses’ season 3 spoilers: Savi will still make her mark in premiere
Even though Alyssa Milano may have decided to put “Mistresses” in her rear-view mirror, that does not necessarily mean that the show is planning to ignore this character altogether going into the upcoming third season. As a matter of fact, it seems as though there may be some pretty specific plans for how to handle her.
We’ve already heard from one of the cast members that the series has plotted out a pretty brilliant way to keep the story set in the present without a major time jump, so why not jump over and see what one of the people responsible for the series has to say? Speaking in a new interview with TVLine, executive producer Rita Mimoun makes it very clear that we are going to see a major Savi presence in the premiere, even if Milano herself is not necessarily present for it:
“I can’t speak too specifically about the Savi of it all, except to say that she is very much a part of our premiere.”
Obviously, the show will probably not include her as a character too much down the road, given that it is pretty darn hard to have a story with one person who is not a real part of it. However, the show may still be coming up with an ingenious plan to have her phased out of things, that way it is not the classic TV trick of just ripping someone away, explaining it with a line of dialogue, and then acting like it is no big deal at all that they are gone. We cannot count how many times we have seen that happen, and it is frustrating.

Savi has to come back….if not then I don’t think “Mistresses” is worth a third season. What do you think???

I completely agree! With no savi it’s like no bread to your sandwich!
