‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: ‘Walking Dead’ actor joins spin-off pilot
Could we see a touch of the zombie apocalypse on the upcoming “Criminal Minds” spin-off? Well, at least in terms of one of the actors who is a part of “The Walking Dead” at the moment.
Sources confirm that Tyler James Williams, who is currently playing Noah on the AMC series, is joining the potential series, which will be planted during an upcoming season 10 episode of the CBS show. This episode is being written by Erica Messer, and former “CSI: NY” star Gary Sinise has been booked already to be the male lead. Williams, before being a part of the zombie show, was best known for playing the title character on the comedy “Everybody Hates Chris.”
There is obviously going to be an elephant in the room anytime that you hear the news about a “Walking Dead” actor taking a role somewhere else, but we would caution you here with a reminder that just because Williams has a new possible gig doesn’t necessarily mean terrible things for Noah. We’ve learned at this point that it is a pretty terrible idea to make judgments on a character before you really know the full story about what could be happening with them.
For the time being, we at least know that this spin-off is building a good cast. for those curious, this story is going to revolve around a special division of the FBI, which will be responsible for trying to help American citizens dealing with crises overseas. It’s an interesting premise, and hopefully, it will work better than “Suspect Behavior” did.
