‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: First look at Jayma Mays’ return
What a difference several months can make! There is a little bit of irony here in that “The Millers” was posting ratings twice as good as “Glee” earlier this fall, but it was stunningly canceled right in the middle of production, almost like it was a first-year show. We’re not going to say that it was completely unheard of, but it was something very rare. Now, Mays finds herself reprising the Emma Schuester role for the upcoming seventh episode of season 6, which carries with it the title of “Transitioning.”
Unfortunately, we don’t feel like the attached photo here does much of a job at all of sharing what their story is, other than Emma looks either horrified or shocked. Also, are they in front of some sort of castle or something? It’s an unusual photo, mostly because “Glee” rarely does outdoor scenes, especially somwhere that appears so much like near a forest. Usually if they are outside, it is typically somewhere near McKinley High.
We’ll have a couple of weeks to figure this one out, but for now, we’ll at least say that we are happy to see Emma back.

Dare I say the outdoor scene may be a park? I don’t get “forest” at all, and the only veritably remote link to a “castle” is the gray brick wall, very common to be used in parks, especially for overpassages, through the 1950s. So, I think that is what we are likely to find. Also, by the look on Will’s face, the look he only gets when Sue is up to her evil twisted deviance, I am willing to bet that is in play, as well. (Emma gets the same look when Sue does the near-unspeakable.)

Actually…I should update that last comment I made. The episode is titled, “Transitioning.” As of late, the episode titles have been slightly metaphorically accurate. We know Bieste is “transitioning,” so perhaps something gone completely “Frankenstein”-ishly wrong in the process?
