‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: The wait for more from NeNe Leakes, cast
Let’s hope that tonight’s parade of nasty comments / constant drama on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is enough to keep you excited for a little while. After all, there is not going to be a new episode airing on Bravo next Sunday.
In case you are wondering why that is, the reasoning for it is pretty darn simple: Nobody in their right mind wants to compete against the Super Bowl. There are very few networks bold enough to risk it, and those are the likes of PBS or Showtime, which don’t really need to rely on typical television ratings. They are more about funding and subscribers. For this show, they realize that they are better just waiting for another week to get more of NeNe Leakes.
As to what you can probably expect to see throughout the rest of the season, we feel like more relationship drama will be the name of the game. Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker will plan their future, we’ll see if NeNe and Claudia Jordan can find a way to get along, and also hopefully see if Demetria Martin has an interesting story coming that does not involve Roger Bobb.
One thing that we do know with some confidence? That this is a show that continually does like to emphasize its big characters. No matter what the drama is on the show moving forward, we are pretty darn sure that it will be drama none the same, and probably entertain at the same time.
We will have some further updates on the show as soon as they are available.
