‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 13 preview: The ‘Chicago Fire’ crossover; big Sophia Bush story

We’re getting closer to the next big “Chicago PD” / “Chicago Fire” crossover event, but we are still more than a week away. There is a repeat airing next week on NBC, but come Wednesday, February 4, we are going to see how Intelligence works to try to ensure that they can figure out just what happened to the building, which was set ablaze and ultimately led to the death of Leslie Shay.

Just in case you have not seen some of the details about this story already, take a look at the full synopsis below:

“Antonio (Jon Seda) and his sister Gabriela (guest star Monica Raymund) go to the office of Elliot Gish (guest star Robert Knepper), the man they believe started the fire that killed Shay. Intelligence along with patrol officers Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Roman (Brian Geraghty) put pressure on Gish to try and make him confess. Lindsay (Sophia Bush) approaches Voight (Jason Beghe) about returning to Intelligence when she realizes that the task force isn’t what she thought it would be. At the same time Desk Sgt. Platt (Amy Morton) is acting strange and has everyone curious as to why she’s being overly cheery, friendly and nice.”

Ultimately, we do feel like the Lindsay story is going to be the biggest one when it comes to this episode for “Chicago PD” diehards, since there are so many different layers there. For one, there has to still be a spot for her in the team. Also, what happens in the event Voight finds out about her and Halstead? It could be trouble.
