‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Jade Roper, Britt Nilsson have Chris Soules’ attention (week 3)

As we said around this time last week, we’re disposing of our previously-used “Bachelor” rankings this season for a little bit of a different system. What we’re doing now is going through the show every week, and the identifying people we consider to be some of the most noteworthy in the competition for a given week. This doesn’t mean that they are the favorites necessarily, but they are the contestants poised presumably to have a very big week in the competition.

What we use in compiling this list are press releases, sneak peeks, and other intuition that suggests that Chris Soules will be taking notice of these people sooner rather than later as he attempts to find his hopeful future wife.

Jade Roper – There is already a sneak peek out there of her and Chris kissing on his bed, so we know that Jade is making her first big impression of the season this week.

Kaitlyn Bristowe – She just got a Group Date rose, and now, she’s getting set to go on a One-on-One Date. All of this screams “contender.”

Whitney Bischoff – Another sleeping-dragon sort of contestant right now. She has been edited positively, but tonight is the first episode she will have a whole lot of individual time with Chris.

Britt Nilsson – What else is there to Chris and Britt’s relationship? This is something worth watching over the next few weeks. She and Chris started out extremely strong, but can she avoid fading into the background? This is a fate that has befallen some First Impression Rose recipients in the past.

Ashley Salter – She’s not a favorite to win, but typically, contestants who get the “crazy edit” tend to go home in week three. She will be one of a rare group if she manages to last any longer than this.
