‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 10 preview: How will Joan’s decision impact Sherlock?

ElementaryChange is going to be in the air on “Elementary” season 3, specifically when it comes to a major component of Joan Watson’s life. While there will be a case at hand during the next new episode (airing January 15) entitled “Seed Money,” there is also going to be another major part of the story that has Lucy Liu’s character featured front and center.

Of course, nothing is ever so simple on this show as one character needing to speak their mind. With that in mind, this particular installment is going to feature Sherlock countering Joan’s surprise with a significant one of his own. for more, take a look at the official synopsis below courtesy of CBS:

“While Kitty tries to find a runaway teen, Sherlock and Joan work a case in which the murder of a brilliant bioengineer looks to be at the hands of a drug cartel.  Also, Joan makes a major life decision but worries it will impact Sherlock negatively, not knowing that Sherlock has big news of his own.”

If you criticized the start of this season for being a little too slow-moving, especially in terms of not accomplishing enough when it comes to cool stuff related to the long-term story, the next couple of episodes should be a cure for what ails you. The episode on the 22nd is actually going to be the first of a two-parter, and it could have some major implications for the Kitty character. We’ll have a little more on that one soon, but we thought it best to make you aware of it at least a little ways in advance.
