‘The Mentalist’ season 7, episode 6 video: Lisbon’s ‘surprise,’ more in ‘Green Light’ promo

Are you ready to see some more fun coming up on “The Mentalist“? The next new episode, entitled “Green Light,” is going to be airing on CBS come Wednesday night, and based on the new promo that was just released by the network, it appears as though there are some crazy times ahead on the show.

Unfortunately, there is not exactly much that you can take away from this promo when it comes to figuring out the story for this particular installment, though we also do not feel like that is particularly the point. Instead, the show seems to be focusing more on a surprise that Lisbon seems to have. Not only that, but there is also a few good Simon Baker one-liners thrown in here for good measure.

The irony here about this promo is that from what we’ve heard, this is actually going to be a really big episode for the Dennis Abbott character, even though you do not see him much in the promo. He has to figure out whether or not his history is going to get in the way of his wife’s dreams coming true, which we would imagine has to be a pretty terrible position for him to be in. Of course, somewhere along the line there will be a case for Jane and Lisbon to tackle.

Here’s a sobering thought before we close this article off: After this one airs, there will only be seven further installments over six weeks, and then, we are seemingly saying goodbye to the show forever.
