‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Snow, Charming, and connections to new villains

If there is one thing that you really should know at the moment regarding “Once Upon a Time,” it is that characters are always connected to other ones. the moment that the show actually introduces us to someone without a tie to another person within this universe will probably be the moment that our mouth falls on the ground in shock. It almost never happens here!

So when it comes to the arrival of the Queens of Darkness in the second half of this season, Snow and Charming each will have quite a bit more to do than in the first half of the season. After all, executive producer Edward Kitsis tells TV Guide that the two are connected to them in some surprising ways:

“Snow and Charming had a very interesting period of time with the Queens of Darkness … As we always learn on the show, the past will come back to haunt you, and that is no different for Snow and Charming.”  

Snow in particular was sidelined both early and often during the first half of the season, with one of the reasons for that being in part due to her welcoming a child with Josh Dallas in the summer. Now that some more time has passed, though, it does allow for her to take on some more great challenges with the show … and we could not be more psyched about that.

The next part of the season will begin on ABC come Sunday, March 1.
