‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: A different side of Kat Graham’s Bonnie
Anytime that you are trapped and separated from your friends and family for an extended period of time, you would almost have to assume that you will undergo at least some sort of transformation.
Well, we can tell you right now that this is definitely going to be a huge part of the story for the character of Bonnie on “The Vampire Diaries” season 6. Remember that scene with the burning Christmas tree from the winter finale last week? Well, executive producer Caroline Dries makes it very clear in an E! News chat that this was included in the episode for a very particular reason:
“It was definitely symbolic … Bonnie was trying to see the silver lining in her situation and get out and enjoy a day where she could celebrate and reminisce and not feel sorry for herself. She tried to take the high road, and she did, but by the end of the day she realized, ‘This isn’t working. I’m alone here. This sucks. Screw it.’ This first chapter of Bonnie being stuck in this prison world is over, and a new badass Bonnie is emerging.”
We want to think that Bonnie will eventually return to the real world, and with that of course comes many questions, including how she will interact with Jeremy, her friends, and even a significant adversary like Kai. The thing that we are getting at here is that there is the potential for Bonnie conflict coming, and it does not even have to be exclusively with evil figures.
