‘Agent Carter’ spoilers: Stan Lee will appear in limited Marvel series
Stan Lee is a heck of a busy man, and he also happens to love his cameos and then some. This is a guy who has appeared in dozens upon dozens of products bearing his work, and you can apparently add Marvel’s upcoming “Agent Carter” to the list.
According to ComicBookMovie.com, Lee will appear in one of the upcoming episodes, and for the most part, his cameos are plenty of fun … even if he is one of the few breaks of continuity within the Marvel Universe that has been established. After all, Lee has already appeared in “Agents of SHIELD,” in addition of course to some of the major feature films
“Agent Carter” has already been confirmed to be getting a two-hour premiere in January, and this marks a nice little attempt by the network to bridge the gap between the fall and spring half of “Agents of SHIELD” airing. For those unaware, the show revolves around Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), who was first featured in “Captain America: The First Avenger” and who has become an integral part of this world. This is the closest thing that the show has to a period piece, at least beyond that Captain America movie. This will last for eight episodes in total.
Of course, we’re sure that this will be far from the last time that Lee makes a cameo on a series based on a Marvel property. We wouldn’t be shocked if he graces any of the upcoming Netflix shows, even if he is not the architect behind some of the characters there.
What’s your reaction to this news? Are you always cool with more Stan Lee? Share with a comment.
