ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Could Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion face off against 3XK again?
However, beyond that there is another mystery that many have waiting for a while to get more news about: 3XK, otherwise known as Jerry Tyson. The last time we saw anything about this story came back during season 6, where we were introduced to a mysterious plastic surgeon named Dr. Kelly Nieman. Right when Castle and Beckett started to figure out that she was hiding some pretty significant secrets, she vanished. The implications were pretty clear that either she was communicating with 3XK in some form, or was an obsessed follower in the way of the sort of people Ryan Hardy deals with frequently.
While there are still some secrets here to be revealed, we know now via TVLine that Annie Wersching of “24” fame is going to be back at some point this season as Nieman. It is unclear when she will be returning, or what her primary story is going to be. If we had to lay our own personal hopes out there, it would be that we get a chance to see Kelly back in action during a two-part episode in February, since that would allow for an opportunity to really see a meaty storyline revolving around these characters.
More than anything, we just hope that this story packs a punch, and gives Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic a chance to do some great things.

Goodness, you guys should just become writers and create your own fabulous episodes…you seem to have such definite opinions (all negative, I might add) and writing skills.

I think they’ve already said that the Feb 2-parter is going to be about the Castle disappearing & lost memory story-line so there won’t be a 2 parter for 3XK

Let’s see how do you comment on nothing. Nothing based on nothing but uncertainties and hopes is still nothing. I can, however, comment on a lousy story line taking forever to even begin to get started. I can also comment on the apparent inability of the show runner and writers to develope a story that is plausible, can make measurable progress and can give both stars of the series enough of a role to play to spur their interest and mine. Perhaps Stana is correct – the only story of interest to be told has already been told.

I would really love for Dr. Kelly Neiman makes another appearance. That story was riveting and the Dr. gave a great but subtle performance. That scene where she faced off with Beckett in the interrogation room is still in my memory bank. That and the killer actually relishing his kills. Wow, bring it back, fingers crossed. I am tiring of these cartoon stories they are giving us.

Concur. I haven’t seen an episode, except the wedding this season, that has made me stop playing solitaire on my Kindle and actually pay attention to the show. The love relationship between Beckett and Castle has been what has made the series. The so-called new mythology this season is just that – a myth. It is merely something we have heard about but not seen.
