‘White Collar’ season 6, episode 5 preview: Tension mounts for Matt Bomer, cast
Just in case you were wondering how crazy things are about to get on “White Collar’s” final season, the thumbnail photo on the YouTube video below really sums it up quite nicely. Tonight’s installment was a huge one for the Mozzie character, and really gave him his due no matter what happens next.
Next week, all of the pressure is going to be on Neal Caffrey has he tries to work with the Pink Panthers on something that will push him to the limit … even more than everything has with this group already. What we have learned about them is that they are extremely cutthroat, and will do just about anything that they can to convince Matt Bomer’s character to show his loyalty.
We love the title for this episode in “Whack-A-Mole,” mostly because of the juxtaposition between something so frivolous and childish to the serious nature of what Neal is in the middle of. If he makes just one wrong move, all of this effort could be for naught. With that in mind, it’s certainly a good thing that he is well-versed in such matters of survival, right?
If you want some further details in terms of what to expect, the synopsis below may offer you something (though probably not much):
“Neal must orchestrate a treacherous operation for the Pink Panthers on short notice.”
The same can really be said for the promo below, and what you really must realize is that when we are this close to the end of the season, USA is not going to do much when it comes to handing out teasers.

I didn’t like this episode. I didn’t buy his connection with that Eva (nor did I feel any chemistry between the two characters), compared with his connection with the sweet waitress or with the computer geek in previous seasons. I know they wanted to focus on Mozzie, but I feel that it was the worst story for his character. I would have preferred they had brought back either one of those two characters instead.
