‘Elementary’ season 3 spoilers: Are relationship problems ahead for Joan?
So far, “Elementary” season 3 has been quite the strange one, especially when you are talking about the character of Joan Watson. The character hasn’t spent that much time with Sherlock Holmes; not only that, but she has not exactly been a key component of every case. Last week, we didn’t really see her at all as she was off with Andrew.
Now that we’ve said that, is it possible that there is some trouble on the horizon for Lucy Liu’s character and her new beau? It definitely seems like it, at least per some of the new press release information coming in from CBS. The title for the December 11 episode is “The Adventure of the Nutmeg Concoction,” which has to be one of the funniest titles that the show has ever introduced.
As for what you can actually expect in this installment, at least some of it is no laughing matter at all. Take a look below:
“A bored Sherlock forces his investigative services onto Joan, who is trying to locate a woman who has been missing for five years, and the only clue is the smell of nutmeg at the site of her disappearance. Meanwhile, Joan’s bond with her long-distance boyfriend, Andrew, is tested when a man from her past reappears and asks for her help.”
Who is this man? That will just be one of the many interesting little wrinkles that is explored over the course of the hour. We just hope that there are some more surprises coming up, and some game-changers that continue to shake up the formula.
