‘Jane the Virgin’ spoilers: Former ‘X Factor’ judge Paulina Rubio to appear
The CW’s “Jane the Virgin” is definitely not skimping when it comes to notable guest stars from the world of Latin music. After all, we have some further proof of this very thing to share today.
Not long after we revealed that superstar Juanes is going to be appearing on the series, we now have verification that Latin superstar / former “X Factor” judge Paulina Rubio is also going to be appearing on the show as herself during the December 15 winter finale. Specifically, we hear that she is going to have some interesting scenes with Xo, as well, and it should make for a good bit of fun in the midst of some drama elsewhere.
You can see some more specific news all about what you can expect in the attached synopsis:
“Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) are both concerned about Petra’s (Yael Grobglas) true intentions with the baby, especially after they discover one of her shocking secrets. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is nominated again for a Best Actor award and invites Jane, Alba (Ivonne Coll) and Xo (Andrea Navedo) to attend the show with him. Xo is about to give up on her dreams, but when she meets her ultimate idol, Paulina Rubio, she has a change of heart. Meanwhile, Michael (Brett Dier) unveils a huge clue in his ongoing investigation.”
We do feel like it is a pretty smart idea for the series to try to incorporate as many different people from within the music world as possible. Not only does it support the story of this show pretty well, but the added benefit here is that it may be drawing in more viewers who do not typically watch CW programming.
