‘Jane the Virgin’ episode 7 preview: Can Jane avoid Rafael?

Ready to see some more drama coming on “Jane the Virgin“? Next week’s episode is the seventh of the season, and through it, we are going to learn a few things about Jane … including how difficult it is for her to stay away from Rafael.

“Jane (Gina Rodriguez) decides the best thing for her is to stay away from Rafael (Justin Baldoni), but when her friends insist on taking her to the hot new club that he owns, she finds it hard to avoid him. Elsewhere, Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) each have dinner plans, so Rogelio suggests they have a double date, but the evening doesn’t work out as planned. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is once again scheming to make Rafael’s life more difficult.”

One of the crazy things to think about right now is that we’re still only around a third or so into the season, which means there is plenty of opportunity to see how Jane’s story develops as she wades deeper into this super-complicated and impossible situation that she finds herself in.

The only fear that we have is that it will be difficult to keep the momentum going with something like this, since 22 episodes is a long time for something that is so serialized. This is why we almost didn’t expect this show to get an order this long.
