‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 7: ‘Snow Queen’ teases for Robin Hood, Will Scarlet, more

We have to start this particular “Once Upon a Time” preview with what may be some breaking news for those who like Will Scarlet: The character is finally going to interact a little with Robin Hood! This is the first time since “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland,” where it was briefly an opportunity. (That may be irrelevant to some, given that the ratings for the show were so low.)

These teasers were posted as always by the super-kind co-creator Adam Horowitz on Twitter, and the first once features Sean Maguire and Michael Socha’s characters engaging in some fun back-and-forth. Apparently, Robin is fond of telling his Merry Men stories about his romantic past, given that the Knave of Hearts is not so interested in hearing his version of “How I Met My Wife” all over again.

Meanwhile, the second tease here is very much themed around the Henry / Mr. Gold dynamic, which is in turn a part of Operation Mongoose. Henry is trying to figure out if there is evidence about the storybook within Gold’s pawn shop, since he is desperate to figure out how Rumpelstiltskin manages to give himself a happy ending, despite the fact that he clearly does not have one the majority of the time.

This issue is twofold. For one, there is no guarantee that the book cannot be altered by the events of your life, so we don’t think that its prophecy for Regina, the one Henry is so desperate to change, is ironclad. With that being said, Rumple having a happy ending right now is somewhat of a misnomer. The guy’s lying up a storm to Belle, who seems to be believing him for some crazy reason. Don’t you think that will be a problem eventually? We do.
