‘White Collar’ season 6 premiere: Matt Bomer reflects, talks expectations for series finale
We imagine that the next few days are going to be particularly bittersweet for the average “White Collar” fan. While the good news here is that there is another season premiering on Thursday night, the bad news is merely that it is the final season of the show. There’s not going to be any more anticipation like this, waiting to see what is coming up when a new batch of episodes launch. The idea of it only being six episodes makes it worse.
The one great thing that we can say is that despite their initial hesitation to decide on the show’s future earlier this year, USA (who do try to give their long-running shows endings they deserve) is going pretty all-out with the promotion of these final episodes.
Also, there are some video interviews, including one featuring Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay looking back and also forward at the same time. Bomer discusses how the past five years have been stuffed full of learning for him as an actor, and the joy he had working with Tim, Willie Garson, and the rest of the cast.
He was also extremely complimentary of New York as a filming location, and understandably so. This series has been able to film at more iconic landmarks than probably any other than we can remember, and that is a part of its flavor and its style. Many other shows choose to shy away from much of that.

I am really going to miss this show plus the actors and actresses but at least USA always gives the viewers a finish that ties up the story. These have been some high quality episodes but also sorry to see that there are only 6 of them left.
