‘Girl Meets World’ episode 13 preview: Farkle faces bullying in ‘Girl Meets Flaws’

Girl Meets World -Throughout the course of the first season of “Girl Meets World,” we have seen the show tackle a variety of issues, whether it be identity, insecurities, or just trying to fit in at school. As we’ve learned time and time again, this is not an easy thing to do.

Next week, the Disney Channel show is going to be taking on a different topic, but one that we also assumed that they would probably be looking at before the story came to a close this season: Bullying. It is such a real part of society, especially in schools, and it would be almost disingenuous if the show decided to ignore it.

The title for this half-hour is “Girl Meets Flaws,” and based on the short synopsis below, standing up for Farkle is going to be one of the larger objectives for Riley and company during this story:

“A classmate teases Farkle for being different and not fitting in with the crowd, so he stops going to class. But Riley, Maya and Lucas intervene and show their classmates how to respect each other’s uniqueness and show compassion to those who need it.”

Will there be some humor in here? Probably, but if we know this show, there will probably also be a positive lesson in there to teach some of the viewers. After all, “Girl Meets World” is not a show that is looking to send out any sort of depressing message to any of its viewers here.
