‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 4 preview: Does Drew get a little crazy?
Tonight on “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” we had what we would personally label one of the better blindsides we’ve seen this early in the game.
Did we really lose something huge? We don’t quite think so. John Rocker was a polarizing force, but he was never going to win the game. He was too loud, too abrasive, and too questionable a player. He’s probably been so good for most of his life powering through anything and everything, he has not spent a whole lot of time really thinking about what his next move should be strategically.
So with him gone, who is going to be the new big personality? We’re looking at Drew Christy, who seems almost like the next target to go home. He seemed very full of himself before the show, and he now thinks that he is the king of the tribe. We get it that Hunahpu was dominant to this point, but you can’t get too crazy about this. This is at least an easy target in the event this tribe ever loses.
If we were this group, the one thing that we would be worried about for now is this: It’s not necessarily a good thing to never go to tribal council. It means that when the merge comes, you often don’t know how to scramble. This is why many tribes who enter the merge down in the numbers manage to find their way back into good graces, and can do so pretty darn effectively, to boot.
