TNT’s ‘Dallas’: With no season 4, Jordana Brewster, Patrick Duffy, more react to cancellation
Yesterday, the news that many expected was finally official: “Dallas” has been canceled by TNT after a good three seasons on the air, and for the cast, it now comes to a time when they must look at trying to move forward.
For many of them, we imagine that this has to be a tough situation. This show was a part of their daily lives for many years, and also a job, a way for them to have time to enjoy and do other things. Many of them will surely get new gigs soon enough, but that doesn’t make it any easier.
Take a look below at some of the reactions coming in from social media.
Jordana Brewster – “Very sad day today. I will miss our awesome cast and crew most of all!
Thank you for playing with and watching us for three years!”
Patrick Duffy – “I for one am not done with Bobby Ewing! Let’s see if some network wants the Ewings to live on! Love you all!!”
Brenda Strong – “Deep gratitude to all. We have the BEST fans! Thank you for your loyalty.”
Julie Gonzalo – “Sad day. Thank you for 3 incredible seasons.”
Judith Light – “My dear Dallas family U r extraordinary All of u The honor of being & working with all of u has brought great joy 2 my life I luv u all.”
Linda Gray – “Thank all of you wonderful fans for your love and support for these past 3 seasons. We were just canceled. So sad!”
It is still possible in theory that another network could choose to pick up the series, but as we detailed it is probably to expect the worst, and be pleasantly surprised if someone does opt to keep the series going.
For now, continue to share your reactions to the cancellation below.

I am shocked at this cancellation. My family enjoyed this show every week. We want the show to be picked up by another network. We are not done with Dallas, yet!! Bring it back!!

It’s total bull to leave us with that massive cliffhanger! At least tie it up with a TV movie! Damn!

I thought this season was the best season ever. I don’t feel the network gave it a chance after Larry Hagman died.

Bad scheduling was its downfall – many out there will be very disappointed. Had it been screened earlier, certainly in the UK it would have had a bigger audience! Such a pity and thanks to all the cast!!

Dealing with Christopher’s death would have made an awesome fourth season. So much going on during the third season. No closure for the fans.
