‘House of Lies’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Daily Show,’ ‘The Following’ alumni join
With “House of Lies” season 4 going strong (at least from the standpoint of production), doesn’t now feel like the right time to share some of the latest casting news?
The following two actors are people you should be very familiar with already, and they should each have important roles on the series moving forward.
Valorie Curry – You probably remember Curry best for playing the evil and ruthless Emma on the first two seasons of “The Following,” and here she will play a computer code writer by the name of Kelsey. According to TVLine, this character will suffer at times from extreme awkwardness, even if she knows that she is really good at her job. Therefore, she will not take a whole lot of lip from anyone who questions her skills, or wonders if she is doing something in the right way.
Demetri Martin – Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter claims that the comedian and one-time “Daily Show” recurring player will come on board as Ellis Hightower. He is a pretty powerful young CEO who goes by the beat of his own drum, and he and Marty (Don Cheadle) are going to develop an interesting relationship with each other. With his presence, both he and Marty could be more successful in the long run.
We are fairly excited about these castings, and overall, we really just hope that season 4 of this show gives us everything that we’re hoping for when it comes to both the relationships and the comedy. There have been times in the past where we’ve felt the show is lacking in the laughs department.
