‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: ‘Jericho’ alum to look after Abel

For this final season of “Sons of Anarchy,” creator Kurt Sutter and writers are seemingly looking to show off the more human side of Jax Teller’s family (in addition of course to all the killing and gang violence).

According to a new report from TVLine, Alicia Coppola of “Jericho” fame (who has also appeared on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” and other shows) has been cast to play the role of Mildred Treal. She is the principal of the school where Jax and Wendy’s child Abel is a student. We assume that this is the same school where we are going to meet Courtney Love, who is going to be one of the teachers at the school.

It is still somewhat of a mystery just how Abel and Wendy fit into this whole picture, but it is fair to be very worried about them at the moment. After all, just remember that Gemma is still in the picture, and she is the one responsible for killing Tara. With Jax going after the Chinese as a result, who do you think opposing gang members are going to target? The answer there is simple.

One other interesting thing to watch out for is that Wendy has built a friendship over time with Nero, who in turn has been getting closer to Gemma again. Jimmy Smits’ character is clearly going to have a role to play in all this before it is over, and we’re just waiting to find out what the role ultimately is.
