‘The Bridge’ season 2, episode 9 preview: ‘Rakshasa,’ and Diane Kruger’s next move
Where does the story go from here on “The Bridge”? We’ve seen twists, turns, and some pretty horrible stuff so far as the lines of trust have been blurred. Heck, even Fausto Galvan has started to realize that, we didn’t quite think that he ever would.
The episode next week is entitled “Rakshasa,” which in Hindu mythology is an unrighteous spirit. We have a hard time imagining just who that could be a reference to on this show, given that technically, Sonya Cross is the only “righteous” one left given that she sees things in just a palette of black and white. Still, that leaves her very vulnerable, and with her working relationship with Marco on the rocks, that is big trouble.
If you want a few other updates on what to expect, then take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Sonya finds herself in the crosshairs as Marco races against the clock. Fausto discovers betrayal within his organization. An unexpected rendezvous unfolds at Red Ridge View.”
The major cliffhanger at the moment is trying to figure out what in the world happened to Sonya at the end of the episode, and if there is any way that she can be rescued. The problem she’s running into is that her two closest allies in Hank and Marco are not on the best terms with her, and they’ll have to once again realize that they need to step up and prove yet again why they are policeman … even if they blur the lines from time to time.

Things are definitely heating up! The season was off to a slow start, but I’m looking forward to the next episodes.
