‘The Newsroom’ season 3: What Olivia Munn is up to next
“The Newsroom” is unfortunately through with production for the entire series, and with that, we are of course left in the position of constantly asking one simple question: What comes next for the cast?
This is ultimately something that will mean many different things to different people. some will chose to head over to film for a while; meanwhile, others may opt to stick to television with roles on other series. The good thing about the show ending when it did is that there is plenty of time for the entire cast to enter pilot season, and there is no longer a reason for them to unable to do so contractually.
So what comes next for Sloan Sabbath, otherwise known as Olivia Munn? As it turns out, a movie role in the sequel to “Ride Along”! The actress recently posted a photo on Instagram of herself alongside Ken Jeong as the two sit inside their trailer for the film. The first, starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, ended up turning into a big hit at the box office. What is interesting here is that Jeong is also someone who almost was in a similar position to Olivia; before Yahoo came out at the last second with a renewal for “Community,” it very much looked like the NBC show was going to be going the way of the dodo.
Unfortunately, there is still no word on when “The Newsroom” season 3 is going to premiere on the network, but we will of course have an update as soon as one is available.
