‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 7 preview: ‘May Be the Last Time’; Alexander Skarsgard hints
Is the end here for Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric Northman? We’re starting to wonder thanks mostly to the title for next week’s “True Blood” episode: “May Be the Last Time.”
Who is this the last time for? At the moment, Eric’s not even the only character who could be on the cusp of dying. We know that Bill also has Hep-V, and when you look at the full spectrum of characters on this show right now, virtually all of them are in trouble in some way or another.
If you want to get the “official” details on what to expect in this hour, take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Sookie looks for a miracle; Eric and Pam close in on Sarah; Adilyn and Wade find refuge with Violet.”
We do find it interesting that HBO is spending a good third of their time here talking about Adilyn and Wade, given that these are two characters who were really nothing on the show until recently. Violet’s who they want to stay with? Seriously? The woman’s on a bit of a warpath at the moment.
Still, we expect the momentum to continue for this season, which has improved as it has went along. We wouldn’t say right now that it is the same “True Blood” that we had a few years ago, but we are at least getting closer to it. The characters are spending more time together, and the universe is also far more concentrated than it once was.
