‘The Bridge’ season 2, episode 4 preview: What’s next for Diane Kruger, cast in ‘The Acorn’
Do you want to talk about obscure episode titles? At the moment, “The Bridge” definitely has a good one in “The Acorn” coming on the air next week. It’s still almost impossible to tell what this is a reference to, but we hope that it does continue the show on the great trajectory that they’ve started with this Eleanor character.
Unfortunately, we have no further information on where that story goes … at least unless you manage to tie one part of the official synopsis below to that story:
“Marco gains a new ally while discovering the true extent of Fausto’s reach. A disruption at a local bank provides new intel to our Detectives and Reporters. Charlotte & Ray discuss their future.”
For one, we’re mostly interested in hearing Charlotte and Ray talk about the future just so we can actually start to understand more of why they’re still around and important to this show. We’ve always assumed that there is some sort of long game going on here, largely because the two have been so loosely-connected to everything so far. Sooner or later, our frustration is going to mount if things continue as is.
Also, we will give Marco a little bit of credit for continuing to handle balancing two different cases without too many major issues. With that being said, how long do you think that he can keep it up? We’ve already seen plenty of evidence that the guy is emotionally damaged following the death of Gus, and is prone to shocking decisions.
