‘The Amazing Race Canada 2’ episode 3 preview: The race finally goes international

For the first time in the history of “The Amazing Race Canada,” Tuesday night’s new episode is going to take teams to a place that they have not been before: Outside of the borders of the country. Hooray! The destination is Hong Kong, and there will be quite a bit to do there.

Before we say anything else, though, we do have to comment on the fact that we didn’t have a big problem with teams staying in Canada as much as some others did, mostly because of the fact that the show did such an exceptional job educating you about the places, their importance, and also people you should know. Hopefully, this is something that will continue for the show even when they are not in their home country.

There is also one other thing that you need to consider here: Being that Air Canada is one of the sponsors for the show, we wondered if they will only fly to place that are destinations for the airline. It certainly wouldn’t surprise us. It doesn’t seem that way, since we went to the airline’s coverage map and Hong Kong isn’t on there. They’ll still have other ways to promote them on the show.

Anyway, the episode coming up seems to feature challenges based at least on one facet of karate, and also a local delicacy that could involve snakes. After all, it wouldn’t be this show without at least one gross food challenge … right? They’ve become a staple of everything with this show.

So long as Mickey & Pete and Natalie & Meghan (our current favorites so far) stick around, we figure that we’ll be happy no matter what.
