‘Under the Dome’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Can Julia stop Rebecca and Jim?
There are some moments on “Under the Dome” where we really start to imagine in our brain that Big Jim is some sort of mustache-twirling villain, and the latest instance of us doing so can be found simply in the sneak-peek video below from Monday night’s episode.
In this preview, you can basically see Julia try to pass on a warning about what Rebecca and Jim currently have planned: Using the census in order to figure out who lives in Chester’s Mill, and also who dies. It’s a very sinister / terrible thing to do, but we cannot really sit here and say that we’re altogether surprised by it. Just look at the track record so far. We’re dealing with a town that has had terrible things happen to it already, and with resources starting to run dry, they are of course going to resort to drastic measures.
But this? Safe to say that this is a little extreme, and the fact that even Barbie has a controversial stance on the issue is somewhat disturbing.
Hopefully at least by the end of this episode, we are going to find some sort of answer as to how the residents are going to move forward. We like to imagine a part of this show or this season where the town’s biggest adversaries are not just each other. Maybe they just need to start being super-resourceful when it comes to ways to securing the right amount of food and water. It’s just a whole lot easier to say that than it is to actually do it.
