‘The Bridge’ season 2, episode 2 preview: A deeper look at ‘Ghost of a Flea’
What lies ahead on “The Bridge” season 2 Wednesday? The one thing that you can be assured of is that there will continue to be drama that comes from unexpected places, and also a chorus of shocking moments that challenge Marco Ruiz and Sonya Cross in ways that they have not been before.
Of course, one of the biggest revelations for the two parties may simply be the fact that the two are getting a chance to work around each other again. Ever since the death of Marco’s son Gus, he has spent the majority of his time either sulking or getting himself involved in some shady practices … including hiding some information from his own captain in Juarez. We know that the police there are corrupt, but is this really the best way for him to handle things? We don’t think so.
Also, this episode is going to bring to us one of the major mysteries of the series, as an undercover officer turns up dead in a very surprising way. The whole theme of this season is that it is going to challenge the agents largely on a psychological level, so we are very interested to see what comes with that. The show already went to a very strange place already with Sonya sleeping with the brother of the man who killed her sister, so it is going to be hard to top that from a “what in the world?” perspective.
For those who love “The Bridge” as much as we do, have no fear: We’re going to have a full review of the next episode up not long after it airs.
